Blood Bowl is played all year round, with each season seeing two months of league play, followed by a three week tournament, two semi-final games, and a final game.
This is a listing of the details of each tournament our league has held since its inception in Fall 1998 (Imperial year 2498).
While a tournament is on, the scores are listed here.
SPIKE! is the official magazine of the fine sport of Blood Bowl, published throughout the Old World and beyond. It also sponsors its own annual Blood Bowl tournament, with the winner gaining not only the coveted SPIKE! MAGAZINE Trophy and a motherlode of gold pieces, but a publicity blitz that is sure to increase ticket sales for all the team's future games.
SPIKE! MAGAZINE's Player of the Year for 2498, Kalien Firestroke, Lion Warrior for the Eataine Excelsiors, scored an amazing twenty-six touchdowns in the fall season. Tragically, this amazing young receiver's life was cut short under mysterious circumstances before this article could be published. SPIKE! MAGAZINE would like to pay tribute then, to the life and times of one of the game's brightest young stars, as he joins the rest of the greats to play in that big stadium in the sky.
Winners of the SPIKE! MAGAZINE Trophy in 2498, the Stench were almost unbeatable throughout the entire season. This article was written by Greg Friesen, aka Weasel Tithnik, head coach of the Stench, in the guise of yet another alter ego, Spike! reporter Draal Kadaam.
